IDENTIFICATION OF DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER

       If the computer is off (no reaction at all when pressing the power button), then you need to do is:

A. Check to make sure the power cord is plugged.
2. If there is a UPS with a soft power switch, press the switch to turn on the UPS.
3. Perikasa rear power switch on the power supply is there.
4. Check the voltage switch on the power supply. Do not try to turn on the computer if the voltage switch is not installed correctly.

If the flame but it does not boot the machine properly or at all

BOOT ERROR MESSAGES
Thing to do is check or try:
A. Remove the existing removable disk from the drive and restart.
2. Use a POST card.
3. Diagnotic run the utility.
4. Check the BIOS boot order.
5. Special Windows 2000/XP, if beubah hardware configuration, boot with the boot disk. This boot file may need to be edited.

If there are no checks and OS or try:
A. Check the boot order in BIOS.
2. Hard drive may be damaged. Tests with diagnotic utility, hard drive utilities, FDISK, Partition Magic Drive Information, Disk Management on 2000 or XP computer, or use a separate hard drive tester hardware base.


If the computer locks up while booting.
A. Check whether the Plug and Play BIOS dienabled.
2. Driver may not be compatible with the OS, especially 2000/XP. Boot into Safe Mode and then check the Device Manager, or use the Last Known Good Configuration or System Restoration.
3. Hardware device may not work. POST card or check with diagnotic utility, or remove all peripherals and the occasional change.

If the computer is booting directly into Safe Mode.
A. Try to boot and get into Normal Mode. It might work.
2. After booting into Safe Mode, check Device Manager may have a hardware problem and conflict recource.
3. Use a POST card.
4. Diagnotic run the utility.



If Windows does not shut down properly, and check or try;

A. Install Windows updates.
2. Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for shutdown problems, more especially on the Windows version you use.

If the computer is running hard, perhaps locked, how to display the error message:
A. Scan the computer for viruses and malware.
2. Check the temperature, fan performance, and have perched on the CPU heat sink with Bena.
3. Run the System File Checker.
4. Run a registry cleaner.
5. Use diagnotic utility.
6. Run the 2000 emergency repair or reinstall the existing process.
7. You may use Windows Me. Back up and do a clean install with Windows XP.

If Windows will not install, check or try:
A. Make sure the computer recource recource overestimate the required Windows.
2. Discover the error message.
3. Test the hard drive. Use a utility dani hard drive manufacturer to set up the drive.
4. Run EZ BIOS to see if the BIOS is installed, if so, try uninstalling.
